SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS

In this post I am going to talk about some of the solutions to the human rights problems in Pakistan?  What role does government play in human rights?  How does the government make money to help with poverty, shelter, jobs, transportation, food, etc.

I think that there are many solutions to the problems if government and people try to help.  The government plays a vital role in human rights.  They can reduce poverty by making goods like groceries  cheaper. This can help people and they can buy more food for their families to survive.

Last year in Pakistan there was a terrible flood which caused the destruction of the houses of many families. Millions of people lost their houses and many of them lost their loved ones.  Now those people are living in tents like a camp.  The government is helping them but not so much.  Almost everyone is jobless in       Pakistan.   Government should make more job vacancies so that the jobless people have a job and can make money for their families.  Everyone should be well paid so that they can make ends meet for their families.

Government can help by providing more and better transportion. The government is making more schools in villages where there are no schools. They can help more by decreasing the fees of private and public schools.

We can help those people and the people that were affected by the flood by donating them money.  Rich countries can help them by donating them money and food.

Human rights in Pakistan

I went to Pakistan (a country in continent of Asia)for a visit for 1 month.I saw many people there living without rights. They just didn't have one problem, they had lot's of problems like problems about transportation, shelter, food, education etc.It wasn't so happy to see people living without these rights but they had no other choice.

FOOD:Food was one of the major problem in Pakistan. There were lot's of people there living without food. Many of them even didn't have fresh water to drink. The things and grocery in Pakistan is really expensive many people can't afford to buy enough food for their family to survive.

SHELTER:Shelter is also a major problem in Pakistan. In villages people live in houses made out of mud but many of them don't even have mud houses they just live in tents which they set outside.I travelled and visited to so many places and cities in Pakistan and saw many people living out in tents. It was very sad. This is because the houses there in Pakistan are very very  expensive.

TRANSPORTATION:Transportation is not very good in Pakistan.  Most  of the people who don't have any transport to travel,  needs to travel in public transport which is sort of good but there aren't much facilities in public transport. I also have travelled in public transport but the journey wasn't so good they just overload the bus with  many people. Some people keep standing all the time. There is not even space to put a foot in the bus. Women are standing and their children are crying. The bus ticket is very expensive but the people stand's no choice.

EDUCATION:Not everyone has a chance to go to school in Pakistan especially girls don't get to go to school. Half of the  children don't get to go to school,  instead of studying they do work. One of the main reasons that the children don't get to go to school is poverty. Most of the children work to feed their family and manage their home expenses and the other reason of not getting education is the school expenses. Some of the schools are very expensive that poor people can't afford.

The U.N. declaration

The United nations  is an international  organization Whose stated aims are facilitating co-operation in international law, international security, economic development, progress, human rights and  achievement of world peace. The UN was founded  in 1945 after world war 2 to replace the league of nations to stop war between countries and to provide a platform for dialogue. There are five permanent members of UN security council: China, France, Russian federation, the United Kingdom and United states of America the rest of the countries are all non-permanent.UN and its specialized agencies decide on substantive and administrative issues in regular throughout meetings held in the year.

The United Nations Declaration Of Human Rights actually has 30 articles.

I have chosed five articles which I am going to explain:

In article 1 its clearly stated that every human is born free that means no one is slave in this world and no one can boss anyone but there are lots of people in this world who are slaves and there are lots of children who are working as child labour instead of getting education which is against the rules. So we all should try to give them their rights which they don't have.

In article 3 it is written that all the people have right to life, security and liberty but in some countries there is no security for people for example in some countries people are not allowed to practice their religion and if they do they are killed which is against the rules.

In article 4 it says that no one should be treated like a slave and no one should be traded as slaves but in most of the countries poor people are treated like slaves from rich people but actually they all are same . In many countries class divide is a common thing they treat poor people like slaves and rich people like kings but apart from this there are many people who sale other people and trade them for money but a life can never be paid if you give all of the money you can but still a life can't be paid.

In article 13 it is stated that every person can leave their country whenever they want and no one has the right to stop them. They can leave their city in their country and can move to any other city in their country whenever they want but in most of the countries some people are not allowed to leave their home which exactly means same as no freedom . This means that someone else is bossing them and it is against the rules.

In article 16  it says that every men and women of all ages have the right to marry and towards a healthy family. In many countries the womens are forced to marry the men they don't want to they are forced to live the rest of their lives with the person whom they don't want to live with. Many of them are not willing to marry but they are pressured and forced to marry. According to the rules both the men and the women should be willing to marry each other if one is not than its his or her right not to marry.A family is a natural group unit of society and should be protected by the  state and society.

In article 27 it's written that every person has the choice to rest whenever he wants and no one can make him work and every person has a limited  time to work and no one can force him to work extra but in most of the countries it's a major problem that people are treated like slaves and are forced to work in return of less wages which is not enough for their family. Most of them work day and night and get no holidays which is against the law because everyone needs rest to stay healthy.

My blogging purpose

I will be blogging about human rights for the rest of the year.  I am basically going to focus on international rights and the many human rights crisis in the world.  The purpose of my blog is to write about the people who don't have their rights and show my readers the poverty, hunger and the crisis in other countries.

In order to start blogging about human rights I am going to learn.  I will be learning about human rights in other countries.  Are all people in the world getting their rights?  Is the United Nations Organization doing it's job?  I will also be learning about the major crisis in the world and the way we could help the people.

Secondly, I am going to communicate to the world and show or tell them my thoughts.  I will be using different ways to communicate.  I will be communicating with people through my writing and my multi-media presentations.

Thinking is an important factor of writing in order to make your writing interesting. You have to do a lot of thinking.  Thinking involves questions and decisions so I am going to make decisions based on good questions.

I will conect with the people by joining their blog, by reading their blog and by making them join my blog.

I will try my best to change the world with my ideas for human rights.  Changing the world is not easy.  I will provide my readers with enough information and examples so that they start thinking about the rights they have but other people don't and how it feels to them.
